Testimonies - Raoul

Before I came to Alôn farm I was a ‘born again’ believer in Jesus, living in Cape Town with my family. However, immediately when I arrived at Alôn what challenged me was to see people who lived the message and did not just speak about serving the Lord and one another. For the first time I was seeing God at work in a real way in people’s lives. Since arriving here it has been an awesome journey.

Coming from the Coloured culture, living only with Coloured people, God has set me free from many cultural limitations. Before it was not easy for me to communicate with other races. I now live with people from many nations and races, coming from many different backgrounds. It is amazing to serve the Lord together with other brothers and sisters. By the grace of God my thinking has expanded and my character developed in this ‘never a dull moment’ life we have together. It is wonderful to have Jesus at the centre and to continually be learning new things as together we go forward in Him.
