Testimonies - Pierre & Laura

“How good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell together in unity” [Psalm 133]. These words have become a wonderful reality in my [Pierre’s] life since I gave my heart to the Lord Jesus. This happened six years ago when I decided to repent of my religious traditions to follow the Lord in a real way. This was a big step which also saved our marriage from imminent breakdown.

My wife, Laura, had committed herself to the Lord before me. We left a comfortable life by the sea-side to come and live at Alôn farm to learn His ways and to be discipled together.

Here the words “life in abundance” is a constant experience. A highlight for us has been the excitement of going on many outreaches into African nations north of us to bring encouragement to believers there as well as to proclaim the gospel to the lost. Everyday life in the community is bustling and busy, where there is a godly standard of excellence, all in all it is a wonderful adventure. Laura teaches at the beautiful high school on the farm called Blue Mountain College. As the vision of the school is to see a new generation of young people raised up to follow the Lord, pointing the children to God’s ways is never far from ones’ mind whatever the subject being taught.

We thank God for what He has done in our lives and the vision He has planted in our hearts – all the glory to Jesus!!
