I have been associated with Alon since 1992 and have watched the tremendous advances both materially and spiritually which have taken place on the land – 17 years. Surely this alone is a sign of our Lord’s blessing. My eldest son has been at Alon for 12 years and has lead a fulfilling life which has included obtaining a skipper’s license and sailing a yacht from Cape Town to Cyprus and around the Mediterranean sea. He has trained as a chef, spent time in Israel and Spain and has learned Spanish. He is now happily married. My daughter has been at Alon for 2 years and works in Tzaneen for Jan Tromp and Associates and helps at the Yum Yum Delicatessen. These are both thriving enterprises and offer the fellowship the opportunity to interact with the local communities. As any true Christian believer can see Alon Fellowship is an open group of people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities who choose to worship and work for God. |
