Davit and Sara left behind everything that was known and comfortable to them in 1987. Their business, their home, their town and even those whom they knew. With 3 children and no knowledge of what was to happen, Davit and Sara chose to follow God’s call which led them on an exciting and interesting journey through many nations and which ultimately gave birth to the work of Alon. It has been God’s unquestionable faithfulness which has sustained them through many years of trial (including the loss of their beloved daughter, Alona) and which has raised them up to become spiritual leaders to many who have come through the doors of Alon. “In all things, whether work or play, give your ALL!.” A reference to being wholehearted in everything that we do.

“The message and the messenger must become one!” A reference to the importance of discipleship as words alone are not good enough.

“Go beyond yourself - that is where your will experience God’s power and blessing!” A reference to giving out beyond our natural means and witnessing the miracles of God which are not dependant upon the efforts of man.
